Barrett Vandiver

Barrett Vandiver is thrilled to be performing with Broadway Olympia Productions. He has been performing with community theaters for the last five years with roles at "Tacoma Musical Playhouse", "Tacoma Little Theater", and "Auburn Ave Theater". Favorite roles include: General Henry Harrison in KISS ME, KATE, Captain Hammer in DR HORRIBLE'S SING-ALONG BLOG, Horton the elephant in HORTON HEARS A WHO, and Skip Snip/ Mrs. Luce / Bernstein in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS; a role he received a Fifth Ave Award nomination for "Best Performance by a Featured Ensemble Member".


After graduating with a degree in Mathematics from UW, Barrett moved to Seattle and worked for a year as a substitute teacher. He is currently pursuing a secondary teaching certificate through Pacific Lutheran University and will be a first-year math teacher in the fall. When not singing and dancing, Barrett enjoys performing improv comedy with teams across Washington.


In Seattle, you can watch him perform short-form style comedy with Jet City Improv. In Tacoma, he does improv as a member of Fool's Play Improv, a long-form style comedy team. Barrett also performs independently at theaters across the state.
